The word ASIS was introduced to Bangladeshi Security professionals in 2007, when Late Brig General Faruque Ashfaque (First Chapter Chair) and Major (Retd) Mahbub Alam Chowdhury attained CPP certification. Late Brig General Faruque Ashfaque organized five days training package which was conducted by Mr. David Cresswell, CPP, PSP. About 12 security professionals participated the training and most of them attempted CPP certification.
